Firstly I'd just like to note that I have contacted a vet. Unfortunately my local one doesn't run an after hours clinic so I was referred to another. They will not see me unless I pay the after hours consultation which is around $237, sadly with too many people promising to pay and never returning they cannot trust that I'd come back to pay first thing in the morning.

At around 10:10pm Jekyll aged 23 months began vomiting, by 10:35 he had vomited a total of 13 times. Sounds like an exaggeration I couldn't believe it myself!
Upon inspection it was he's food that he'd thrown up then the last few times it was just a foamy yellow colour.
At 11:00pm I decided to take him out on the veranda with a leash just to get some air. Usually he would try and hunt around for moths but this time he just lied down, however he was still alert and trying to catch bugs.
By 12:00pm he seemed slightly better and drank a large amount of water then hoped into bed with me and he dozed off a little.
Half an hour later he became a little restless moving to the end of the bed very slowly and collapsing in front of the fan.
He slept for a while and even played with he's toy mouse for a bit.
It's now 3:00am and he's sitting on the top of he's scratching post and I've just noticed that he's face has begun to swell up a little and he's mouth area is quite red as are the inside of he's ears.

He spent a total of 5 minutes outside this afternoon at around 4:00pm while I hung washing out and as it is starting to get into the warmer months I'm not sure if something has bitten him or not. My vet opens at 8:00am so we still have a few hours.
I'm not looking for a diagnoses, just some advise on how I can make him comfortable while we wait for the vet to open.

:-(

Syringe some fluids to him? Preferably something like Pedialyte with a little sugar in it for some energy.
