Hi my name is Rose, I am the Mom cat to 6 wonderful furry felines. We live in South Philadelphia. We are all Morris Animal Refuge alumni. Here is the batting order for the team, we have Ryan 2 yo, Virgil 3 1/2 yo, Rachel and brother Matthew 4 yo, Sally 7 yo and finally Momma Pooch 20 yo. We have a very large house even though whatever room room we are in they also join us. They are all trained to walk on a leash with a harness. Our house is a cats dream come true. They have a nice size cat tree in the dining room and every imaginable toy in their living room, including a mini size hockey net that Matthew uses as a hammock. My furniture is in excellent condition because they are all trained on using scratching post or scratching boards. Every room has at least one scratching board. We cut their nails at least once a month, with only minimum protest specifically Momma Pooch who has only been with us for 3 years and who hates to be picked up. Most I can do by myself. I hope to become a long time contributing member of the cat site since my favorite topic to talk about is my cats, cats in general and animals.
