Meower Broken?

Hi Everyone,

I am a little concerned that out six month old cat Nisi has yet to say a word to us. He has never meowed once since we've had him, which has been about two months now. The most he ever does is squeak , even when ralphie plays too roughly with him. Is it possible that Nisi can't meow?

Some cats just don't meow. I had a black cat once that never made a sound. I took him to all sorts of vets and they all just scratched their heads and couldn't find anything wrong with him. Because of the fact that we have a multi-cat household and he was getting beat up on by a few cats, I rehomed him to a lady who has no cats at all. He lives the life of Riley now with her.

If you are concerned, you can always take him in to be checked over. One visit will usually tell you what you need to know.
