OK everyone, I have some good news to report. Last month I talked about how our cat Yoda went deaf after getting her teeth cleaned and ears flushed. Well now she hears again! We are still not sure how much of her hearing has returned but she responds to our voices and noises from the TV etc. She has gone back to being her usual fun and playful self! She is still picky with her food and will only eat certain things - she wasn't like that before - but that is the least of our cares! We are just so glad that she is back to normal again. I will continue to watch and post on the forum and will keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers!

Hugs to all!

This is WONDERFUL
I am so glad to hear this.  So...maybe no brain damage after all. Maybe she was just acting the way she was because she was still coming out of the anesthesia, and then with the deafness, everything was just so different for her.  Whatever, I'm just so glad your little girl is back

Thank you  everyone for your good wishes! She seems to be back to normal being her crazy kitten-like 7-year-old self! She even reacts to whispers so we know she can hear again! This is the best Christmas present ever! Hope you and your beautiful kitties all have a wonderful Christmas and much love, health and happiness in the New Year! My wish for all the creatures of this world is for full little tummies, warm little bodies and happy little hearts!
