I got my kitten when she was only 2 months old and now she is 6 month and the lady before i had her when she was 1 month old and i am aware that she was weened too early which most likely plays a roll in this problem, but is there anyway to encourage my kitten to clean her bum?

Sometimes if my cat doesn't clean, or she had an accident, I get her bum soaking wet with a paper towel (warm water). But these cats already clean themselves, so I don't know if it would work for you...

Does she clean everything else? Her paws and chest?

She cleanes everywhere except for her bum, she also keeps her tail up all of the time so it gets really stinky

Yes ,   her being taken away from her mom way too young (one month!!!)   definitely could play a role,  since she didn't get that crucial time with her original )at family.  Grooming is one of the things they do learn from imitating their mom.

I wish people would not get the idea that as soon as a kitten becomes capable of nibbling some solid food,  it's fine to send them off

Hopefully she may still pick up on it on her own, or from watching other cats.

The idea of getting her rear damp .. maybe with a wet wipe .  might encourage her to go on and clean it.

Maybe a food change would help with the consistency of the stool  so that it's not so messy .    Or adding a probiotic  to the food might help with that too.

It would be fine to put the kittens on only wet food as long as it is a decent food) ideally labeled as kitten food or for all life stages - both kittens & adults),  high in animal protein and fat  and low in carbohydrates from grains, vegetables or fruit .....   & as long as they get enough.  At 2 months old they should be eating about 4 meals a day,  as much as they want at  each meal.

I don't know if you've ever considered feeding raw ( a balanced diet of raw meat, organs and bone) ,  but I have found it makes a big difference in the amount and odor of feces,  as well as the consistency -- it seems less likely to stick to them .  it is like small, rather dry pieces.

We do have 2 other cats but they are both 15 years old, and arent really fond of her activenss. She eats Whiskas and whenever we have given her wer food she tends to have runny poops. We also have tried wiping her bum with a warm damp cloth but she always squeals when we try so we stopped figuring it hurt her.

Kittens squeal when their mum cleans their behind as well.  Her diet might be part of the problem - Whiskas is a pretty low-quality food.  There's a nutrition forum here, suggest you pop over there.

Here in the UK I buy German grain-free food from Zooplus and whilst cat poo is never nice, it was a lot worse (more of it, more smell, softer) when I had them on Felix and Sheba for a few days before they went to the cattery and while they were there.  Wish I'd taken their food along.
