Just got back from a 5k--it was a benefit for the Arthritis Foundation. I love this race, everybody dresses up in Christmasy type outfits. It's not real competitive (good thing, because I'm slow), there are lots of families, little kids, dogs on the course. Fun. This year I was in the top 10 individual fundraisers (well, I squeaked in at #10 but still, I made it!) so after the run I got to go into the VIP tent for goodies, yum! Great way to start the day. Now gotta rush to shower and get going with the day, we're having a birthday party for my stepdaughter who's turning 35, yikes, where does the time go--she was FIVE when I met her....
Loved this guy's costume:
Goodies in the VIP tent:
Me crossing the finish line:
Getting ready to high-five the clown who was handing out finishing medals:
Me bragging about getting into the VIP tent
