Good Morning to all you wonderful, knowledgeable people of the Cat Site. Our family consists of the "boss" of our gang-Nicky. He is 8 years old-and the best cat we have owned. Next we have our Lil girl-Opie Marie. She is pure white, beautiful 6 year old lady. She's kinda shy, but has her good days. She just recently got spade and boy did it change her for the better! Now-our new addition is Mr. Kobe B. He was taken from his Mummy weeks early and also was the runt of his litter. He's the reason that I found your site. He's got a bit of belly trouble goin on. He's 8 months old, and now very different than when we 1st got him. I'm glad I decided to become a member of this awesome site...and can't wait too be involved. Thank you for your time.

There's some handy info here about general how-to stuff, including adding pictures, avatar, etc.

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/249027/links-to-forum-how-tos-tutorials-and-faqs

Let's see those pictures!!

We like pictures!  I especially like pictures of white kitties, but tuxedos, black, tabby, orange, torbie, and grey are just as good.  Don't tell Mouse, he's very grey!!!

Looking forward to hearing lots more about your fur-family and what they get up to.  And of course I hope you find support and help for little Mr. Kobe B.

Your pictures are great, it's nice to see what our fur companions look like as we get to know about them.  Nicky looks like a fine boss cat to have about the place.  Very handsome face, he looks really sweet.  Your little baby Mr. Kobe B is laying in the same place Mouse used to lay when he was younger - down the back cushions of my sofas.  He always looked really cute down there.  Is Mr. Kobe B Tuxedo or does he just have a white face?  I hope you get his belly full of trouble all sorted out and he feels better soon - so he can start jumping about your place and annoying your other cats like kitties his age do.

Beautiful kitties! So that's Mr. Kobe B on the left and Nicky on the right? Is Kobe B feeling better? What was wrong with his belly, do you know? I hope that you were able to find some help here. Don't be shy about posting your questions in new threads if you can't find exactly what you're looking for. The people here are very knowledgeable and are pleased to answer questions (even some of my not so brilliant ones
). I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of Ms. Opie Marie. She sure does have a pretty name.

mservant mservant Hi again! Yes...Kobe B is a tuxie. He is very sweet and I just have to get his belly issues straightened out. I don't know how you all have done it--some for months I've read. Just these past 10 days have tested my nerves because its so hard not knowing and seeing him sad. susank521 susank521 - Nicki is the bigger picture. Kobe is the Lil tuxie. We're calling the vet tomorrow because poor Kobe hasn't pooped in a couple days..Again! I'm just so confused that he's eating, drinking, been cleaned out and still is having trouble! pauli466 pauli466 Puddy is a great looking kid! Kobe has 4 white paws too. Miss Opie is all white. I must find a good pic of her. She's absolutely beautiful!

Hi guys. Pretty bad news at the Vets for Kobe. His poor Lil muscles can't push out his BM. Soooo, needless to say I lost it at the vets. Doc and the vet tech put their heads together and come up with a couple of courses we're goin to try. Continue his pumpkin and increase to 2x day. He starts a medicine called lactulose 3x day. very litle hard food to eventually none which I have already done. He could have too go in for anemias 1x week while we try this. That takes it out of the Lil guy. He did a Lil BM last nite after returning from the vet...Yayyyyy Kobe! The next course of action in a couple weeks is to add another med with the lactulose (forgot it but have read it on here). If he still can't go---but this IS goin to work. All we have too do is soften his stools the way I see it. I'll try to attach a cute pic of Kobe I took this morning. Thanks you guys for taking the time.....

Sure wish the news had been better for you and little Kobe. Sounds like you've got a plan, though, and I'm praying it will work for him. Was his poop last night hard? Anything today? He is a young guy, so he's got youth on his side. It's amazing how resilient they can be. Most important, he's got you to take care of him. I know you've done a lot of reading about Kobe's condition and are trying so hard to help him.

Awww, so sorry the news from the vet was bad.  I have a kitty dealing with constipation right now, we are using Miralax for her.  It's working pretty good, we are having daily bm's.
