Hi All,

I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on a small growth i have found on my cat's stomach. Small background info: I have two cats that get along very well, but do like to wrestle from time to time, so this *could* be the result of a bit/scratch. This is on my young cat (about 3 years old). I noticed he licks/grooms the area several times a day, but does not seem bothered when i touch the area or inspect it.

Thanks in advance for in replies!

If your cat is licking and grooming the area then is is bothering him at some level.  It is good he isn't biting or scratching as it becomes very difficult to see what is going on at that point and it makes any healing very difficult too.  It may be an allergy or something from your cats fighting but, particularly with the location close to a nipple, I think you are bst taking him along to a vet as soon as you can.  They can either reassure you it is nothing serious, or you will find out what it is and any treatment he needs can start as quickly as possible: that is always a good thing.

Please let us know how you get on.
