Depending on which weather-weenie we believe for tomorrow, we are either in the 3-6 inch belt or the 5-8 inch belt. And it's so cold that whatever snow we get is going to stick around for awhile. If we don't get more than 6 inches or so, Rick and I can shovel the driveway out on Saturday night (it's good exercise, if nothing else). More than 6 and we'll have to get our plow-weenie to come in and do it. Rick is working OT in the morning, so he'll be getting home just as the storm is really winding up.

Looks like tomorrow will be a cookie day. With soup for our Saturday night supper.

Where are you with the latest storm? In the path? Have you already dealt with it? Or are you out of the US altogether?

Like you, it depends who we listen to. We could be getting anywhere from 3-12" We have my niece's play to go to tomorrow afternoon, but I think it will start after that. I brought the snowblower into the garage earlier this week, but Aaron hasn't checked it over yet.

Same here on Long Island. 4-6 inches or more.

I am supposed to work tomorrow at the store tomorrow. Hoping they'd call and tell me not to come in, then again, I don't want to lose the money either!

I'm in NJ and for my area they are only calling for 1-3" now - it was higher yesterday.  We have very little food in the house, grocery shopping will have to wait until Sunday regardless of the amount since I have no intention of going out in it.  But, we have food for the cats, so at least they won't go hungry.  As if

We are right in the area where it is supposed to be rain/ice/snow.  We're only supposed to get around an inch but if that is in the form of ice it will be a mess.  I won't try to drive when there is ice but power outages are always a problem with ice.

So far we are to get 2 to 4" of snow tomorrow.  Other areas of NJ are getting possibly up to 10".  I still have some ice left on my porch from early this week but the ice melter is working.  It's supposed to be very cold here also so the snow will be around for awhile as in your area Pam and gee, it's not even Winter yet.

We are suppose to get 1-3 inches, before it turns to sleet - rain here in Ridgewood, NY, a 20 minute subway ride from Manhattan, NYC. I would much rather have an intense, heavy snow storm for a day, vs. this snow/sleet/rain shart we get!
How much I miss the country side, hate the winter in NYC!

Pam - guest room is ready and kitties want company. It was 86 the other day.
That's not funny!

Nothing here yet. But they say it's coming. And some of the forecast maps have pushed us into the 8-12 inch bands. It depends on when it turns over to ice. (Our worst is supposed to be from 3-9 pm.) I guess it's a good day to spend in the kitchen. Rick is working this morning and I'm hoping he'll get home before the worst hits, but he has some errands to run, too.

I am not amused.

Looks like we're going to get pretty well snowed in today in Northeastern NJ.  I've been debating about running out to the supermarket but realized I have enough here for a few days,  even a brownie mix lol. And plenty of milk and coffee which are the two things I most dislike running out of.  Oh and enough canned food for the cats to last until next Thursday.  So, we're going to hunker down and enjoy our day inside together.  Keep the fireplace going, relax and not stress about it until it has to be cleaned up.

Best part of snow storms are the photo ops!  I'm sure we'll do the same
YESS. I have a new SLR that I'm so excited about. Right now there's like 3000+ photos of Jed.

It's still kinda dark out, and I'm at the lab waiting for it to get a bit brighter before *snap* *snap* *snap*.

And..........................we got flurries.

I agree....would love to see some pictures!

We're going to hunker down, too, once he gets home this morning.

You know, it would be a good night to start working on Fringe DVDs. I've seen seasons 1 & 2. My co-worker just gave me S-3 and I just got S-4 & 5 from Amazon. I think that's what I'm going to do tonight while dear Richard is watching football.

Ok off topic now for a second - is it a regular SLR or digital?  And which one?  I've been in the market for a digital for a while and am about to break down, thinking about the Nikon 5200.  I have a few older cameras, one being a Pentax which takes film, but much as I love it (prefer too), it's become difficult to buy and get developed, plus I want the immediacy of the digital now.

EDIT: I just realized you used the word "lab" so I'm assuming now you're using film.
