i brought my cat from saudi to Philippines..when we arrived there, our household cats hissed at him and our dogs just sniffed at him inside the cage..the next morning he ran outside the house and gone missing  for 8 days..after that he just came back to the house..since then we noticed that everytime our dog, a philippine mongrel, would go near him and play with him he would just play with them but not with other cats..he chased and fights all other cats around him..he even went missing again 4 three days and was found kilometers far from our house..people there complaining that my cat was seen fighting other cats on their place..he's a persian and hes big weighing almost 6 kilos so maybe he thought he is a dog...he would also give his food to our dogs but not with other cats..and also our dogs defends him if he fights with other cats..our dog would go chasing after those other cats..

Is it your cat and dog in your avatar?  The cat looks beautiful, and yes -  very big, and good friends with the dog.
I have heard that sometimes cats who are not used to sharing their space will prefer to share it with another species like a dog than other cats so your story does not sound unusual for the cat.

I would worry about your cat running off if it does not know the area well.  Has he been neutered?  He could also be hurt badly if he is getting in to a lot of fights.

yes,hes the one on my avatar..actually he loves all dogs even the ones he jut met..everytime he would go chasing other cats our dogs would also chase for them so he would sometimes end up watching our dog fighting with other cats..hes not neutered actually, and hes already 4 years old now..i made a big cage for him outside our house where i put him there whenever we're not around..actually the days hes gone missing were the days hes still new in our place...lately he's not getting into fights cause other cats would just go away after they saw him..

Sounds like your big Persian guy is moving in to take over the neighbourhood pretty quickly!
Please give serious thought to having him neutered if you're not doing this already.  You will be told this a lot on this site as it is 'pro-neuter' - to try and prevent the unnecessary increase in cat populations and taking care of existing cats and kittens who need loving homes.  But this advice is also out of concern for you and your cat.  I have already mentioned the risks of serious harm in fights that go on between entire male cats but it is also one of the most common reasons posted where cats have gone missing.  Entire male cats have an ability to escape from very secure settins because they are so highly driven by their hormones, and will travel large distances to find entire females in heat. I would hate you to go through either of those experiences when they are preventable at the same time as improving the safety of the general cat population in your area.  From the little I can see of him in your avatar he looks pretty impressive and I would like to see more of him, in good circumstances like fun posts about him befriending local dogs rather than any due to being hurt or lost.

Keep him safe, it could be very difficult to keep him close to home, and although he may be large and appearing to be taking over the neighbourhood at the moment he is at risk when he is out.  If you want him healthy and hopefully able to produce healthy babies with this other Persian it is even more important you keep him well.

It is so tempting when you have a beautiful looking cat with an equally beautiful nature to want kittens to carry this on but it can bring lots of problems, particularly with health.  Are both your cat and the female that he has been introduced to 'pedigree' with known history including health?  If not then take care with kittens in terms of any potential health issues they may be susceptible to.  Aside from that, as you are already on this path, I hope things go well for you and you have some more beautiful cats to add to your home.  If not, perhaps you can fill your space with some less fortunate little balls of feline fur from your new area, as long as they can be introduced without being terrorized by your cat-dog and his current canine companions! Even if you keep him safe indoors from now, you may well start to see some young kittens out and about that have some resemblance to your boy in a few weeks time, in which case perhaps you might consider offering one or two of them a home if your friend's Persian has not become pregnant.  If they have been well brought up by their mother there is a good chance they will have inherited a good degree of their cat personality from their dad.

My boy is a precious family baby too, and has a grandma, aunties and uncles who buy him more presents than I do!  It is quite right your boy is pampered, I am sure he deserves it. :-D

Very sorry, I missed out on answering your question.

There's a nice thread on making your own treats here:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/268498/homemade-kitty-treats-thoughts-opinions

Also if you look through the Nutrition forum there is loads of advice on feeding raw, or making your own food with the right additives to ensure a balanced diet. I'm not great on cat nutrition so wouldn't want to give advice but if you post and read in that forum you will learn loads!
