or start sleeping in the bed.LOL.I'm laying here browsing the boards(have a laptop)for a few minutes before I try to go to sleep. As soon as I turned off the lights and layed down here, here come the kitties. There are 5 on here with me now.One is laying here on my arm making it go to sleep.LOL.I don't know what I'm gonna do if the rest decide to get up here.

Usually 1 or 2 will get on the couch wih me,but not this many at a time.
Silly kitties.

ROFL....I think my highest cat count on the couch was about 9, and had 11 cats plus 5 dogs in my king-size mummy-sleeping-bag bed one night. (My greyhound was stretched out and sleeping on TOP of me and the cats were p*ssed off about that, as they could only surround me on all sides.) You get relief from them when you go to bed ?!?!?!?!?

I UNDERSTAND about sleeping on the couch with cats! I slept on my couch for over a year because I didn't have a "bed" and had to share the couch with 3-4 cats. Often I'd wake up with cramps because I'd have to sleep weird to fit on the couch and with 3-4 cats!

I got a new bed last month and thought AHA! NOW I can sleep normally since there will be PLENTY of room for 4 cats and me in this BIG full-sized bed. WROOONNNNGG! I still wake up all cramped up in this BIG bed due to cats sleeping all over me. This morning I woke up with my arms numb because two cats were sleeping on top of my arms.

SOOOO if u get a bigger couch, u might still have the same problem!
I thought getting a bed would solve my problem and it didn't. I guess I ll have to get used to it since I love my cats too much to kick them out of the bedroom.

I know the feeling since I only have a full size bed and there are usually 8 or 9 of the Kitties sleeping with me. Once I get into bed, I can't move. It makes it really hard when you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I feel so Bad about shoving some of the Kitties out of the way and off of me so I can get up!

LOL.Yeah, when I sleep in the bed more of them sleep with me.I usually have one on my head, one on my back, one or two on my legs/feet,then some laying right up against me.
I know what you mean about getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.I have to move kitties around to even get up,too.Don't know what would happen if I had to get up in a hurry.LOL.
I don't know what I would do without them though.

One good thing is,it's starting to get cold and all that fur on/around you sure helps in keeping ya warm.

LOL! I live in an old farm house and don't have heat in the upstairs bedrooms. Needless to say, my furbabies take the opportunity to REALLY snuggle in over the winter.

Don't ya love when they step on your bladder in the middle of the night and then you have to find a way of wiggling out of bed with lots of mad cats? They then follow you into the bathroom to make sure everything is going OK there, then back for the mad dash to get the best spot in bed! You gotta sweep them out of the way to crawl back in bed, and before you are even comfortable, they are climbing on top of you again. Does this happen to anyone else besides me?
