lt's a toss-up between Scratchy from the Simpsons
and Hobbes from Calvin and ...

l love Calvin and Hobbes - l used to borrow the books from the library and add them to the kids' pile so the librarian didn't know they were for me

I cannot believe you left Hobbes out! Ok, he's a tiger. But a tiger is just a big cat and Hobbes is the most awesome cat around!

We have every Calvin and Hobbes book that was ever published. Well, our son has them.

Salem Saberhagen from Sabrina the Teenage Witch! He was so sarcastic and funny. And the puppetry was so bad, but I think it added to his charm.

Either Jayfeather or Brokentail/Brokenstar from the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter.

I like Jayfeather's personality, disability and special powers. I love blind characters and I love Jayfeather's bluntness.
I like Brokentail/star because of how demented he is. I wish there were a book from his point of view, but I guess a book from the POV of an evil character isn't allowed.

I never really thought about this, out of the list I choose Simon's Cat since this is the one that made me LOL and could relate to the most...........

I don't know- I like them all

I guess-

Salem (because I have a black cat)

Garfield (because I have an orange cat)

Puss is orange like Sam.  But Sam's more like Garfield than Puss.

And Simon's Cat just because that cat has the personality of both of  mine

Francis, the hero of Akif Pirinçci's "Felidae" series, followed by Joe Grey from Shirley Rousseau Murphy's books. It's probably the mixture of cynicism and unbridled curiosity that I find so attractive.

Ditto, here.... Love Jiji! Aya appreciated his tortitude even though he's black.

Hello Kitty and Kitty Cucumber would be two favorites. They are not really literature cats however being more style icons.
