My cat has liver disease but is on the mend. Over four months her ALT has gone from 2171 to 532 to 335 (while on SAMe - Denamarin) but after pilling her for all those months, the last test didn't improve and instead went back up to 368. So my holistic vet who I adore told me to try the FortiFlora. Cat is healthy, eating (though always been extremely picky and will only eat Instinct Chicken flavour), not vomiting, or in any other easy showing illness. Vets have just commented on her "slightly thickened" intestine. So, back to the FortiFlora:

She doesn't like it. Half a pack in her food, and she rejects her food. So I'm looking for another probiotic that maybe is chicken flavored so it goes undetected in her chicken food. I tried a "flavorless" sample of OptaGest from my local pet supply, but she rejected that too.

Any suggestions?

If you're vet feels that she would benefit from a probiotic like fortiflora, you can ask your vet for other recommendations.  My vet told me that even a little yogurt with active cultures could help with my cat's particular condition (different than yours) so you might ask your vet about that too.  Speak to your vet before trying anything new ok :).  Good luck and let us know what happens!

thanks, and I already did do that. Her response was "that's the only one we carry, try a smaller amount (which I did) and "other types are available at the pet store", hence my quest for samples instead of expensive experiments, which lead me to the OptaGest.
