Good morning and TGIF!

I'm sitting here looking at my desk (and all the mess on it) and I'm wondering: Where do you have your computer? If you have a laptop, do you go anywhere in the house? If you have a desk computer, do you have it in the kitchen? Or is it in a room just designated for your computer?

Where do you use your computer?

Rick and I each have our own computers, both are Dell desk computers....he has my old one, which is still going strong. Our computers are in our son's old bedroom, now considered the "computer room".

I have mine in the sun room.  I don't have a laptop or any way of working on a computer or going online except in that room.

I have two that I use at home.  My laptop, which I use most, is in the living room and pretty much always on my lap.  My BF and I are VERY hooked in socially and otherwise online.  It's a gaming unit, and pretty powerful but several years old.

The other one, is my PC, which is brand new.  That is upstairs, along with his computer, in our "office" (3rd very small bedroom).  I don't use it as much because there isn't a tv in that room plus, I hate the chair I got for myself and it's uncomfortable.  That's what I get for cheaping out - I have to buy a much better one.  However, when I want to get serious about my artwork, that's the one I use because its a powerhouse. The PC is hooked up to the server at work so if I need to do anything if unable to go into the office, I can tap into my that computer and pretty much work from home.

I have a Dell desk top computer in my second bedroom, I call it my computer room or office.  I have it on a computer cart, the other side of the room I have a regular desk where I write out bills, etc.

I have my desktop (circa 2003) in my 2nd bedroom which is also my office. I post here on my phone usually.

I use a wireless laptop at home.  Mostly sit in the living room which is where most of Mouse's toys are and we have out biscuit feeding sessions (I throw he chases and eats).  I can play with Mouse in between posts, have the TV or music on, and I sit on the sofa so Mouse can sit curled up near me if he wants to.

I hate having a computer out and taking over the room when it's not in use, and don't have a smart phone.

We have a desktop in the dining/kitchen area.  It's a big L shaped room.  It's not a convenient area for a table unless there is nothing against the walls.  So we have a good size desk here and behind me is usually a large play yard for my DS.  Right now the Christmas tree is there.  The table is to my right where it's a bit more open.

I also get on here from my kindle; and that can be anywhere in the house.  hehe

BC (Before Children) we had one bedroom dedicated as an office with 2 huge desks and 2 desktops.

Wireless laptop (Asus) I use it mainly on the couch, dining room table or on the futon in the lounge room.

All conveniently facing a TV

And more importantly of course, convenient for the wanted lap-nap by the kitties.

Twins all the way except for the lap-nap kitty :-(

Just have a desk top located in the third bedroom, which is the computer room. Have a really nice computer desk with a hutch on top that becomes the storage place for "everything" - cards, labels, Christmas cards to be addressed, etc. No lap top, or even a smart phone.

l keep the wireless laptop on the main (2nd) floor mainly to stream stuff to watch through the TV. ln the ground floor family room  l have a wireless desk top.

We have lots of computers. BF has a desktop in his bedroom/office (he sleeps weird hours). He also has a laptop. He bought that to bring with him when he'd come hang out at my place before we moved in together. When it's used now, it's usually by my kids, on a TV tray in the open hall space near the kitchen (I live in a big mill loft, so the layout is oddly spacious).

Then I have two laptops, one I bought years ago and another my university gave me last year. The former is used almost exclusively by my kids. It stays on a desk in the living/dining room. I use my laptop all over the place. I take it to school with me every day, take it in the kitchen with recipes on it when I cook, take it to my bedroom to watch TV shows and relax. But I normally use it in the living room. That's where I do most of my homework and internet browsing.

We used to keep our computer in the kitchen (where the hutch is now). My dad got me a desk from the hospital when they auctioned off old furniture many years ago....it was old, but nice. And having the computer in the kitchen meant that we could keep a bit of an eye on things when our son was using the computer, especially when he was younger. I liked having it in the kitchen, too, because the kitchen always seemed to be where we hung out. I'd be making dinner and our son would be right there and we could talk. Or (what usually happened) I could listen to him complain when a game didn't go the way he wanted it to go.

When our son moved out on his own, the first thing I did was move the computer back to his bedroom. Then when we got the second computer, Rick wanted the old one, so that we could both get online at the same time....no more waiting around for the other to finish. He took the old desk, too, and we bought a desk for me. That has worked out well for us.

It's kind of nice on weekend mornings. He'll be back here doing his fantasy football stuff on his computer on working on Quicken stuff and I'm here on TCS.

We have a FROG room and it is my private place. I have two large sofas and a rocker, wide screen TV. I have a corner desk and that is where my computer, scanner and printer are. I also have a couple bookcases with all my genealogy books. It is the largest room in our house. We have a laptop which is usually on the table by the double recliner where my husband sits. Then we have an office on the end of our house. It is his computer in that room.,
