I just changed the lightbulbs in my dining room and one of my wonderful cats must have knocked one of the table and it broke. So now I am flipping out!!! I locked them all in the bedroom but is there anything that could hurt them other then the broken glass? I think I got all the broken glass up but now I'm so worried about them

not my cats, they were all around it and I had to run and get treats to trick them to go in the other room. My cats are so darn brave sometimes, i just worry that they licked it or ate some glass or something. they are my little babies, and of course hubby isn't home, he would calm me down

As long as it wasn't a flouescent bulb they should be fine after you sweep the glass up. I'm sure they didn't lick up any glass! You'll be fine.

it was a normal bulb, one of those reveal kind. I just checked, paws, mouthes, and eyes and they all look okay. They are all acting like normal little crazy monsters, but when I was cleaning up the bulbs I noticed there was some kind of powerder on the inside
I looked all over the box and there isn't any warnings on it, I hate being a worry wart!!! Why can't i just be one of those calm people

Does you vaccum have a bare floor setting? If so, maybe you could run it across there just in case. If not, maybe you could get the attachments to your vaccum & try to suck up any pieces you might have missed.

Mine broke something on my tile floor just the other day, I just swept really good a couple of times and mopped with a damp mop just to make sure I got all the little slivers.

Go with a wet towel over it , it helps pick up the tini stuff . Or if you have a swifer (sp) use that one . Just sweeping sometimes don't get it all .

It's better to be safe than sorry so it's better to be a worry wart.
Maybe swipe the floor with water and soap also after vaccuuming again to be safe? Just a suggestion..
Malynn AND PurrfectCatlove beat me to that suggestion!
We must've been posting at the same time!

I'm going to go over the floor with a mop. to be safe. I steped on a small piece of glass yesterday, and i have no clue where that came from. it hurt so bad though
Hopefully rich will be home soon and I can tell him what happened
