Going to the movies

Let's tell the truth. Do you bring your own treats to the movies or do you spring for the 4.00 popcorn and 3.00 coke ?   I feel the price for the ticket is more than enough so I go to the Dollar Tree for my candy.

I bring a good size purse to carry it all for the grandkids too.

To me it is stealing.  Prices are what they are.  If to much then get nothing and just eat before/after.

There is one place nearby that allows you to bring in anything but alcohol.  They are part of a mall and right next to food court so people will have pizza at times.  They are always packed and cause no one is hiding alot more bring out trash compared to other places I have been.  I avoid the movies in general as I do not enjoy how loud it is and rather lay in bed and watch the movie when it comes to tv.

I think the prices are ridiculous! It's almost $6 for a small soda here and almost $8 for a small popcorn. And the candy is almost $4. I usually bring my own snacks and they really don't care if you bring your own stuff as long as you don't leave garbage behind.

If we are going to the movies, it's because someone is watching our daughter so we splurge and get food there. Sometimes I will bring in candy but only because I hate paying $5 for the exact same bag.

Most of the time we bring our own. I hate spending $11 on a coke + nacho combo. It's ridiculous!
