I live in southern Ohio and Jim and I just celebrated our 50th anniversary.  We've had a houseful of cats and dogs while our two kids were growing up and now we even have a couple of goats.

My husband has taken in a stray cat at his business and even went and bought a litter box and food before I suggested to him that he should bring this cat inside.  Now he brings the cat inside his showroom at night when he locks up and lets him out in the mornings.  He tries to tell people he's not too fond of cats.  We all know better.

I'm so happy I found this website and I can hardly wait to explore all it has to offer and to share stories and information with everyone.

Welcome to TSC.  I too have a crazy cat man. One of the many reasons I love him so much.

Lots of friendly supportive people here.  You're sure to find all sorts of good info.

I keep telling my husband we need to get some goats.  He's not sure yet but I'm working on him!  There's just something about their friendly little faces I can't resist.

We originally got the goats to keep a hillside grazed down that was too steep for my age to let me mow any longer.  Turns out, the entire neighborhood loves them.  They're very vocal, and so sweet.  Ours are pygmy goats.

I love hearing then baahhh at me when I step outside  And the added bonus is, they eat just about anything besides grass.   I give them all the vegetable scraps, and they've even eaten corn cobs that were cooked and acted like they loved them.

I wish our property was big enough to have two more.
