My first cat lived with my parents when I went to college. When I went home he completely ignored me the entire time, every time. Paid a lot of attention to my boyfriend though.When we got married we had a place for a cat.He came to live with us and then all the attention was on me. My husband was like what happened I thought we were buddies.My handsome boy Max...lives with my parents but we've had him (and his black and white brother) since I was fourteen. He gets mad at me for leaving him - the first day I'm back he ignores me except to bite if I come close, then the next day he'll wake me up by sitting on my head at 6am and we're buddies again. I've never known a more intelligent cat. Or a cat with such a sweet tooth...weirdo.
Ahhh I miss him! I get to see him in three weeks!

So funny how cats are like that. When I went outside one of my cats would sit outside of my bedroom door waiting untill I got back. And when I moved away she would just leave for days straight and as soon as I came home there she'd be running back. Moving back home for two years was the best decision I ever made. Wouldn't have wanted to miss te last year's I had with her for the world. I still tear up when I think about her.My first cat lived with my parents when I went to college.
