Black Cats Only

This was my family's first cat Sylvia(RIP). She always reminded me of a black leopard, with her long body and thick tail.

This is Tricksy, she was adopted on Halloween. Three days later as I was about to take my dog out I glanced at Tricksy & did a double take. Sasha wasn't happy but I had to get the camera because Tricksy had somehow managed to get two pieces of fake fur from her toy mouse stuck to her face. She's been living up to her name ever since. Right now I'm trying to figure out if she's pregnant. I posted about that in another thread but before someone goes off on me I want to say I left her with someone I thought was responsible & would keep her promise to not allow her tom anywhere near my kitten & I'm furious that it's even a possibility my way too young baby might be pregnant.

This is our new kitty, Hex. He is a total scaredy cat, but is also full of very affectionate headbutts. He is 4m old.

Aaw,  Hex is a BABYCAT!      Very sweet.

Hex looks a bit like my baby cats. He is gorgeous. I'm out for the morning. I miss my babies.

i must admit, i used to be such a superstitious person, and would literally cross the street or walk the other way if there was a black cat that crossed by path...

until i met Jet at the shelter and fell in love with her!

black cats are so beautiful and majestic, like tiny panthers on the prowl!

This pic is of Jet. first pic, Jet when i first adopted her (at home for 1 week). she was only 8 weeks old. 2nd pic, Jet a few days ago. Healthy happy and 5 mo. old


pic is a bit bad quality..but this is Jet cuddling with me in bed while i was sick and then freaking out when i coughed or sneezed haha

looks like a cross between "i'm gonna get that sock" and "get out of my face with that camera mom!"

@MServant  you know the struggles i've had with this one since i brought her home! from a rushed intro, to her being aged wrong at the shelter, to her not eating. to her being sick, to me giving meds, her stinky bottom and litter box issues, her hissing, and then worms. ahhhh

it makes me happy to see there is such a different between when i brought her home, and her now.

She's still a skittish kitty, but from the beginning to now, she's changed A L O T

and she's happy...at least i hope she is. her belly definitely looks like she's happy. lol
