They are Russian blacks indeed. They do have green eyes but they are a bit hard to see. They turn one on 12th jan so are still babies. The eye colour deepens with age.That is a great picture of your girls! Loving their eye colour, and Neffie's ears are fabulous, you could pretend she's a Russian Black if she had green eyes!!!

We have a new kitten, Sophie, 4 months old. And she is a terror.

I hope to be able to post some pictures of my own little boy soon. Alas, I got a new camera for Christmas, as well as the kittens--and it is new learning curve on the both fronts.

I have car pets: little soft toys that live in my car. I've had them since my neices and friends' kids were little and used to travel a lot in my car. They all have names of course. I lost my favourite one, she was a little white and pink poodle called Fifi. Then there's Heehaw (hedgehog roadkill), Hector because he looks like Hector from a kids TV show called Hector's House, and Mini (moo the cow).
Also, Mr Shadow, and his brother, Nicholas Brightspot, are BLACK. They blend in with all of our background!
I have plenty of pictures of blurred tail tips, noses pressed up at camera lenses, empty frame would be action shots, and otherwise 'not good' shots, and I am sure most other TCS members have them too.We love them just the same. And kittens are pretty impossible to get unless they're sleeping with their paws over their ears so you have to go with the flow. Thank goodness for digital - I used to spend a fortune getting films developed only to find 47 in 48 frames totally unrecogniseable. Blurred, over / under exposed, laser eyes, we love them all - post them anyway!
