My cat is 4 years old, and recently started vomitting about once a day. He was at a vet a month prior (around when this happened) for a injured paw and was on antibiotics for 1 month. I am not sure if this is a possible cause, but I thought I should mention it.

A 2nd weird thing that just started is that a lot of food is falling out of his mouth when he chews. There would be broken pieces of food all over the floor (about 1/3 of what he eats).

He is strictly indoors, and has never vomitted with this frequency in the past. I am really worried. I would take him to the vet, but he gets very tense and attacks, and needs to be gassed (was gassed to bandage his paw a month ago)... so I really prefer not to if I don't have to.

He eats Science Diet Weight control, and that's all he eats (as far as I know). THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I can't give you a lot of help, but you might want to ask your vet if he would be willing to make a housecall. That would help reduce the cat's anxiety while he's being examined.

I have actually did what I can and brought my cat into the vet and had them do what they can without gassing him. They got a stool sample only......... which showed no worms or parasites.

I think the next step is bloodworks and x-ray..... is there anything I can do for kitty to calm him for the trip?

The bill was in the ballpark of $500 also for the x-ray and bloodwork..... I just paid $300 for ER care to fix his paw.
