I'd like to introduce my feline buddy "Spanky."  He is a 17.8 lb. American domestic shorthair.  People think he's spoiled because he has a handmade collar and harness made to look like "Gladiator."  Also, I built his backyard catio (his 2nd) which also has a chandelier (but only when the weather is nice) and he gets massages for his feline osteo-arthritis.  The truth is, he EARNS all of his treats ... even the eatable kinds.  He sits, shakes, high-fives, hugs my arm, rolls over, and plays his own little keyboard set on command.  I'd say he's earned every bit of luxury that I can muster!  He also sleeps right over my head, often with his cheek against mine, and his paws on my shoulder.  He's the most amazing cat I've ever had the pleasure of rescuing.

Aww! I love his name and his appearance. He's a big ole' boy isn't he?  How old is he now?  You mentioned he has osteo-arthritis, so I'm assuming he's a senior.

Hey thanks!  I put a lot of energy into this big guy.  I'm between quarters in school right now so I have a little extra time on my hands.  So, that means new cat projects!

Yes ... he's definitely considered a senior at 11-years-old as of late September.  But, I think he will live a very long time because he is supremely adored!  Thanks for the post!
