Have you got snow yet?

It snowed last Tuesday here briefly, I missed it though because I was shopping :(

It snows here very rarely. I think the last time was 1989.

We had snow but it didn't stick.  I'm more than fine with that!  I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't for driving.  I really really dislike driving in snow.  We've had years with next to nothing and years we've been buried in it.

We had a scant covering of snow about two weeks ago that melted by mid-morning. And it was basically up on top of our hill. When I drove down to the bottom of the hill on my way to work, there was nothing.

That could change on Tuesday when the winter storm that's been going through the south comes to visit central PA. Latest forecast is 1-3 inches of white stuff from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

I am not amused. (Belize. I tell you, we are moving to Belize, cats and all, when we retire. Although lately dear Richard has started to talk about moving to the northwestern US. So we'll see what happens. )

We had some flurries a couple of weeks ago that did stick but it was over before you knew it.  I have a bad feeling the weather this winter is going to be a difficult one in the Northeast.  We stocked up on firewood early in the season, our house is quite old and while work has been done on it to address drafts we still need to have a couple of downstairs doors replaced.  Everything in the house are custom sizes so this isn't an inexpensive fix.  I might break down and get one of them done soon - but probably not soon enough to make a difference for this season.

We had about an inch on the ground last week here in Nebraska. Which equals zero in the moisture department! I hate to say it but we need to get dumped on to get some moisture, but hopefully AFTER Thanksgiving! I really need snow to get in the Christmas mood.

It's in the forecast for the next few days, but I'll believe it when I see it. It's cold enough, though.

Tricia they keep saying the same here....I mean facebook totally had me convinced ( ;) ) last weekend that I would wake up to a winter wonderland last Monday but that didn't happen.  As long as it doesn't snow before Monday ill be happy I have some friends to go see on Sunday

We have had snow here a few times now, from flurries to actually some on the ground. Saturday we where having white out conditions through different parts of the state. When I left work Saturday had enough snow to
make road ways slick, saw an accident less than a 1/4 of a mile from work. Not enough snow to account for much but enough for the idiots on the road to cause problems as they where trying to drive like there was nothing on the roads. Suppose to be getting some more snow this afternoon :(

It snowed last week for a little while.. it did not stick. It's supposed to snow tonight, but I doubt it's going to stick either. its supposed to turn to rain.

lt snowed a couple of times last week, but just a dandruffing as l like to call it.

On Saturday we got a pile of it and it's still here on the grassy areas. Saturday was so bad, and road conditions so slippery, we had over 50 accidents in 90 minutes in the Ottawa area.

lt's just freezing out there now, it was 10F at midday, brrrr. And apparently we're supposed to get a dumping of up to 25cm tomorrow night, ugh.

It has snowed here a few times already, we actually have a little on the ground still. I wish we had a few feet but we haven't been that lucky yet!

You and me both. Because if YOU got snow, heavens, we'd be in the middle of something very very ugly.

It is white outside this morning. Thankfully, our road crews have been out and about and the roads aren't too bad. The parking lot at work is a wee bit slippery. The snow is to change over to freezing rain some time today and then change over to all rain sometime tonight.

Thank goodness for YakTrax....I brought them with me today and, if it doesn't get really windy outside, I plan to walk in the snow/sleet/whatever it does  over lunch. If you don't know what YakTrax are:   https://www.yaktrax.com/ . I love these things....they are wonderful in snow and on ice.

We actually did have some flurries today, but it wasn't enough to qualify as the first snow of the season.
