Can anyone tell me the name of the vaccine that is pink in color and is administered nasally? My cats received this when they got their 1 year booster shots, and I cant remember what it is... thank you!

I’m almost sure that is the pink one. My second guess would be the Calicivirus vaccine, but I think it’s the one for Chlamydia.

It could be the Feline Upper Respiratory Combo the FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Caliciviris, Panleukopenia --Distemper) vaccine.

The only pink one administered through the nose that I recall is FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). It's not a "core vaccine".

Yikes. Thats what I thought, as now my 1 1/2 year old cat that has been sick with respiratory issues is now "testing positive" for FIP. The vet diagnosed her as having wet fip (came to this conclusion on bloodwork and because she was sneezing/watery eyes and crackles in her lungs), which was a total shock. He gave us antibiotics and steroids which she IS responding to (I have read that in the wet form, there is no or very little response to antibiotics - we are on day seven of the meds and her lungs are now clear and sneezing is almost gone). I strongly feel she was misdiagnosed- now I think I need to find a new vet to see the possible causes of her symptoms.
A few weeks back, I took both my cats in for a deworming, and the vet gave them that in conjunction with the program shot and a new flea medicine which both had bad reactions to. They both have open sores where the medicine was applied which we have been treating. One developed what was initially though as allergies ( we let ber lay by an open window, which we probably shouldn't), which wasnt going away with the steroid shot, and got worse as the days went by. Vet ran bloodwork to test for feline aids, leukemia and white blood cell counts. He called the next day and said that she tested positive for FIP. What!?
I feel so bad, having put them though all of this. The scary thing is that the vet said he did not give them the fip vaccine since they are strictly indoor cats, but thats what I thought he gave them. Another vet I spoke to said that once they have been vaccinated with the FIP vaccine, it is more than likely they will test positive for the antibodies from now on, and even at that, bloodwork is not accurate in that type of diagnosis.
When we asked if all her current issues could have been caused by the stress of all she through recently, and all of the medicines they have in her, be said no... Needless to say, we are on high alert because of it all and are hoping she gets through it all.
