puddy has worms

I saw a what I thought was lint on puddys butt when I got it on the end of my finger it looked like a grain of rice then it shrank and looked like a seseme seed I wanted to get profender but they tell me I need a percription from the vet I called the vet and told him the cats problem, he wants 80$ to see him and write a sript what a rip off, he wants me to traumatize puddy with a vet visit so he get his 80$ there has to be a way around this I don't have money to throw around like that,this vet really got me upset,over a script,that puddy needs

Sounds like your cat has tapeworms. Are you and Puddy already clients of this vet you called? A lot of vets will not just give out prescriptions unless you're an established client. It's also important to get the proper medicine from the vet. I never buy over-the-counter products. They are extremely dangerous.

Also, tapeworms are caused by ingesting fleas, so you'll also need to the fleas under control or else the tapeworm problem may continue. Again, do not buy over-the-counter flea products like Hartz, Sentry and Sergeant's.     http://www.hartzvictims.org
