I need to find fur ever homes for 2 beautiful tuxedo kitties I rescued this summer.

Blinky MCwinks and her brother Catino. These were 3 week old ferals I found in my car hiding.
I've taken care of them and completely gentled and tamed them- they are no longer feral.

They have become the most loving and Purr-y kitties ever!

Blinky has a birth defect in her right eye, she is quite a beautiful and delicate-
Small frame kitty. She is light as a feather and super soft.
Although she has a full long coat, she doesn't shed.
Blinky is a very gently playful girlie girl. She never ever scratches and if she plays with you she will give you a loving tap - with out claws- and purr.
She's great with children.

Catino is splendidly a perfect Tuxedo, just so beautiful and perfect in his confirmation and personality- he was the smartest and fastest and most dominant of his litter- and has become a gentle, loving purring lover of a kitty. His still loves to have his paws rubbed when he gets sleepy. He is so loving with his sister and he even gives her baths:)

I've tapped out all known and recommended adopting parents- no I'm thinking about looking for homes in public forums which worries me.

Have you had any luck with pet finder or... ( gasp) Craig's list?

I'm not sure i would trust a Craig's Lister-

I'm going nutz- these guy are still small and cute and not to mention super polite and well mannered- the older they get- the harder it is to find homes!!

Help! They are so beautiful!

I will post their profiles soon!

Do you have a vet statement saying nothing is needed for the eye? I think alot would be afraid as it looks like money needed and if that what else may be needed(yes people need to expect vet bills but that looks like it needs some surgery)

Are they fixed?  How much time can you keep them-is it rehoming as your about to be thrown out for having pets in a no pets or you just never planned to keep them-if you have time on your side you can rehome at some point, may take awhile for 2 together

I know alot are against craigslist but to be honest I find you can find some decent homes/people.  I got a few of my cats and both dog. They get taken care of.  I know rescues are on there all the time.  My friend runs a rescue and is listed on petfinder.  She gets her share of crazies on there too.

Charge a fee or if you do not like that take the money and donate it to some shelter/good cause in their name.  That alone will weed out some.  Make sure they are fixed and if you can microchip them to your name(You can get it done cheaply and for no office visit at petcos vaccine clinic)

Hey there!

thanks so much for your kind words. the babies are with me for and will be until I personally find great homes for these guys. Baby  Girl with her eye issue has been examined by 3 vets and hers is not an issue of any operable solution. she has a little disability and its does not take away from her great beauty and grace. I adore her and she is a lady. she has grown into a beauty Lady Cat. I think she is Parisian Oh la la!

I will not list these guys with any online source- I just don't trust that they will do well with strangers- I am looking for bond fide parents- not crazies looking to sell them to labs. I just don't trust online sources like pet finder and esp. craig list-

Take care

We found my kittens when going to a campground to check out a camper that a friend was interested in purchasing.  It turned out  that many  of the campground residents are working with a feral cat colony that also lives there.  They were catching the kittens and working with them to socialize them and get them ready to be adopted.  As it happened, there were two three month old litter mates ready to go.

We, my husband and I discussed the matter, and decided that I would adopt the two and bring them home.  I had lost my precious Angelina a month earlier to a pit-bull, and there still was a huge hole where my heart should be.  We assured the gentleman that they would be well cared for and loved.  And boy are they!  They are 6 months old now, and are precious and very loving.

As to the camper, the friend decided that the asking price was a little too steep.

Good luck to you!  :)

Even with craigslist, you can do a home visit.  Take a friend and if you feel anything hinky, do not leave them.  You might do the visit first and return with the cats if you're happy with the home.  Or you can have the potential adopters then meet you to pick up the cats.

ALWAYS take a friend with you.  You can also do an Internet search for the address and determine if it's in a decent neighborhood first.

Thank you so much for helping these two.  Vibes you find good homes for them.  I have a three year old tuxedo I am fostering now.  After four months of searching, I haven't found her a home yet.  But she has a safe home until I do.

Well crazies can be anywhere.  Trick to rehoming is to get the cats ad viewed by as MANY people as you can as SOME will be normal. Vets sometimes have walls but at same time some are ignored as so many ads in one place.  Kitten season is soon to be coming and adults have little chance then.

I would make sure to ask a few of the vets to write a note saying the cat is healthy and eye has no impact or treatment needed
