My missing feral, Patches is still alive and kicking!!  He returned last night after being MIA since March.  I had a few animal communication sessions and felt that he was still alive, but he had not returned even though winter weather is approaching.  He has wintered with me the past two years.  He is a wanderer by nature.  I finally was able to trap him in March and he never returned.  I was heartbroken.  I knew he had been spotted in the area, but the last time was in May.  I am just so happy that he is alive.  I didn't get to see him in person as it was 3 am when he appeared.  I have surveillance cameras on my deck that I use also to keep an eye on my ferals.  I have so much wildlife in my yard.  I set the cameras each night.  I about fell off my chair this morning when I saw Patches.  He was on the deck walking around and checking out the feeding stations.  I hope he remembers that food is only out during the day.

Last night before I went to bed, I had been thinking alot about Patches.  I had a "conversation" with him in my mind telling him that he was getting cold and that it would be a good idea to come and check things out.  I also really needed to see him.  He must have been listening to me!!  I have no idea if he will return or not.  My 2 other ferals had just left the deck a few minutes before Patches appeared.  I think Shadow knew as I could tell he was pacing before he left.  Also after Patches left and Shadow came back, Shadow was sniffing every where.  Shadow and Patches were buddies.  They snuggled together for 2 winters.  Stellar has never seen Patches.  I have no idea how or if the 3 will coexist.  I just hope that Patches comes back and decides to spend the winter here again.

It has just been a really special day!!!

Awww - you're very own snowbird!  Only he's doing it backwards!

I hope he sticks around.  I just hate it when they are out and about.  Don't they know we're worried sick about them?

Oh, wonderful! I remember how worried you were about Patches.
I think it's crazy that you talked to Patches: crazy good. I started talking to Ritz when I consulted with an animal communicator, and I still talk to Ritz. Sometimes about deep stuff.
