Cat peeing on my stuff?

As you all know the smell of a cats pee is a horrid smell, my pregnant cat has been peeing on my bathroom carpet and in the dirty laundry pile. Its gross, and I cant wash the carpets and stuff every day. We always thought it was my other cat but I was taking a bath and I seen her squat down and pee rigjt in front of me! The litter is always clean, my 2 cats share a litter. How can I make her stop? She does go in the litter sometimes. She was a stray.

Oh, it isnt necessary a behavior problem.  I suspect the main connection is with her being preg. Hormons surge,  the tension inside is risings, pulling on the urine bladder...  If nothing else, she must surely do her more often then otherwise.

Hide your used clothes better, lay some aluminium or plastic sheet over other things you cant hide.

Have two different litters!  Or even more if necessary.  This may be the best help.     One of them doesnt need to be totally clean - it sometimes helps if they recognize it is  THEIR litter, as long as it isnt dirty in there.

You can also sprinkle some Kitten Attract litter.  Dr Elseys is the most renown.

This isnt cheap, but you dont use all of this at once, just sprinkle some on the upper layer.

Possibly, if you feel she is stressed, you may work with  lessing on her tensions and stress.  Here you must analyse some, IF and what.   Knowing that, it is easier to invent remedies.
