I am new to the forum, I have a 3 year old sphynx who is due on December 11th ish, and I am SOOO excited! she is already showing, and has been pink on her nipples for a couple weeks now. she is a tortie and the sire is a tuxedo. we are expecting a colorful litter :) she has her room set up in our house and has her breeder cage open at the moment. ill keep her in there once it gets closer to her due date. Ill post photos when i get home later today!

while this is my first sphynx litter, i am not new to kittens in general, ive been working in vet clinics and shelters my whole life. have had several fosters and have raised litters in the past.

i am active in the dog show world, my breed of choice being great danes but i also handle for a client who has chihuahuas.

this is my first experience with purebred cat breeds and pregnant ones at that. we bought her pregnant so all the kittens will be altered and sold to pet homes, she is from champion show lines so we may keep a kitten to show as well.

i am very excited!

oh and while i have quite a bit of knowledge its always good to be able to add info to my files, so links of any kind are appreciated. i like to keep track of all my factual information regarding both the cats and the dogs ;) especially for newbs!

Oh, so you have quite a lot of overall experience!   Good, because while mostly delivieries goes well without much troubles, it is not unusual just a quick and resolute help from the owner being there, being watchful, which saved the day...    For example, helping to open the sack when the mom was exhausted with several of the first births.

Or noticing there was complications after the birth, the temperature raising, and rushing the mom to the vet in time...

Anyway, here are some links I did stole shamelessly for some of my collegues who are good at finding on Internet...

There is a lot of info on this site and forum.
or fabcats has some great articles.  (  they have changed their name now to International Cat Care )  http://www.icatcare.org/advice/advice-centre
There's a US vet who has a website with a lot of good information on nutrition . http://www.catinfo.org

You mentioned you have done quite a bit of reading but here are a couple more links

 One from this site:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/pregnancy-and-delivery-in-cats

http://www.icatcare.org/advice/my-cat-having-kittens    ( This is a link to a group of articles on cat pregnancy, birth and kittens.   Read the ones on normal cat birth and on " when to wait and when to worry"  )

http://www.cat-world.com.au/parturition-birth-in-cats

http://www.icatcare.org/advice-centre/cat-care/normal-cat-birth

http://www.kittenrescue.org/index.php/cat-care/kitten-care-handbook/

http://www.hdw-inc.com/glop.htm   kitten-glop (goatmilk instead of evaporated milk is good).the site is about kitten-care, a Bengalbreeder..

Good luck!
