Hi everyone. Precious has a bump just below her lip that looks like a pimple. I noticed it about 3 days ago and since then it has gotten a little larger. It is not an open sore or anything. It is pink like her skin. I don't know if she has a pimple, ingrown hair, or what. I do use styrofoam plates with her for her canned cat food though. I have heard that plastic bowls and plates can give cats pimples around their mouth. Is it possible that the styrofoam plates I am using are causing this?

Do you reuse the styrofoam plates? If not, and they are one-time use only, then I wouldn't think that's the problem. Cats can get feline acne, often from bacteria harboring on plastic bowls. It could also be something called a rodent ulcer. Can you take a picture of it?

Well, I don't re-use the styrofoam plates.
I don't think I can get a picture of it. I seriously don't think she'd hold still and I'm not sure if my camera would even get a clear picture or not.
