Can anyone recommend a good probiotic for cats?

Different thread for same cat - Lulu's diarrhea has started back up, and the vet did agree with the probiotic, and also suggested pumpkin. Well the pumpkin did not work, made things worst for her (we've learned that she does not react to things normally). I've tried a few things, but one thing is certain, she cannot have more fiber, she had a massive accident all over my husband. So we need something that works more like a Imodium for her.

Thanks I will look into it, my other cat is now having the diarrhea - and he's never had that issue before, he's on his third brand of antibiotic.

I made comments on you other thread re the diarrhea.  I think you will be needing more than a good probiotic at this point, although anytime you use an antibiotic, it's a good idea to use a probiotic as well, just wait several hours in between each one.

Lulu was getting the probiotic in the morning and her antibiotic in the evenings.

Just thought I'd pop in and say a couple things..

I know most kittens respond well to FortiFlora and thats what they gave my little "no no" kitten Nori..

but Nori hates the stuff.. was avoiding the litter box.. was an extremely stressed out kitten.. her fur was greasy.. poor little thing.. but she was having wicked diarrhea and was underweight and started pooing everywhere.. was dehydrated and under nourished..

Anyhoo.. She would not eat Forti Flora..

I took her to the vet.. who tried giving me MORE Forti Flora - at $60 a box..

I immediately grabbed my phone and did some price checking.. Told them that $60 on something she wont eat was a bit too much - especially when i checked and could pick up the EXACT box on Chewy for $20..

Got home.. grabbed a box of Forti Flora and since i had no other option.. I started looking for digestive aides..

I read the reviews of this stuff called VetriScience Fast Balance GI Paste.. and ordered it..

Nori licks this straight from the tube.. and it WORKS!!

It can only be ordered online.. but several places have it.. like Amazon and Chewy..

Best of luck to all the fur babies dealing with this!!
