my cat wont stop sneezing and am worried

Daxter, me and my boyfriends cat will not stop sneezing and is staring to scare me because its completely new to us and him. He is a awesome cat more family then just animal, he is 7 1/2 years old and constantly cleans himself. But ever since he started sneezing he stopped for 3 or four days just lays in bed when he is hungry i let him out of the room give him water and food then he just comes right back to bed and sleeps for longer then usual. i know this just may sound like a regular cats routine but Daxter is the opposite of routine, yes his cleaning himself and food are very much apart of a routine but he is more he is special and playful in the craziest ways he is Daxter an amazing great pet and friend. So if any one has any advice that could help me that would be nice.

How long has the sneezing and lethargy been going on for? Cats can catch a cold (upper respiratory infection) like humans can and they can clear up on their own. However, if this has been going for a while with no signs of improvement, then I would really recommend a vet visit. He may need antibiotics to get better.

Any change in behavior is a red flag that something's not quite right, as you've noticed.  A trip to the vet is in order to rule out anything medically wrong.  You might ask them to do a senior blood panel on him while you're there.  It's more comprehensive than a regular blood check.
