Athena's due soon, and lately Ive been noticing that are nipples are very dry. Is that normal before she gives birth? Is there anything I can do if it's not natural?

Dry nipples?

Quite a few high pregs gets their milk very late, during the delivery or soon after. them not getting milk at all is uniquie (unless the kittens are premature).
Of course, the wise one double guards and do have some kmr or goat milk at hand, just in case.
If the milk flows at it shall, and no real problems, you can later on use this kmr / goat milk as an extra for the mom, or even, for yourself.
I suppose you can rub on some cold pressed virgin olive oil on the teats. Cant hurt may even help, both with the oil as such and the de facto massage. Or probably, mom will lick the oil of her herself, if she does reach down - this will give the best massage, and is one of the reasons high pregs does licks themselves as much in all the private parts.

Is it normal for there to be almost black dots around the nipples? sort of like scabbing?
