I was so sad when buster was killed and when i found out Bebe was pregnant i was so HAPPY cause the thought of having buster live on thru his babies was a gift from God especially since the vet said he was sterile!
Skip a head a couple of months.....
I found a cat that i named Lilly a poor stray who needed me and i needed her to help get over busters death.. the kittens were born into a happy loving HOM, 2 solid orange females one with long hair i named big fluff, one with med fluffy hair i named lil fluff,
2 boys one tiger and white named bea, one cream and orange tiger named little buster.
I lived for them i loved them i planned on keeping them ALL, everything was going perfect until
I got sent to a probation program in SALEM, ma ... i begged my father to keep watch over my babies until i was back home in Lowell it was only a 28 day program and there was only 10 days LEFT. ... my bfs parents had given me a notice to leave me house, i was gonna beat the case since i had a lease.... but my dad panicked and he took 4 of the cats to the shelter, little buster, lil fluff, big fluff and Lill. ....... i tried to find them to get them back BUT he didn't remember what shelter he brought them to, i called all over the place frantically.....finally i found out that they were dropped off at the Lowell Humane society, he didn't give THERE name', only Lilly's...... when i finally called them they said that they were ALL adopted OUT! !! I haven't spent a night without crying since, they refuse to give tug tree people who adopted them my info too let them know if for any reason they can't take care of the cats that i will. Take them back... for any reason at all, if there moving if they get sick, of the other pets don't get along....etc..etc..

I don't uderstand how MY father could do THAT to me he knows i HAVE issues with letting GO of things exspecially my baby's, i can't HAVE real children of my OWN and i feel LIKE he stole MY children and put them in foster care and i can NEVER SEE them AGAIN!

Please help me find away to eventually get my children back, or atleast get the place to give my info so i can HAVE them of they can't keep them, my heart is broken without them

Hi. I am really sorry this happened to you.  I have no words that are sufficient.  This is such a betrayal, I know.

Unfortunately, the kind of help you say you want is impossible. I am sorry to be so blunt but there is no point in giving you false hope.  If the shelter is refusing to tell you who adopted them or to tell the people who adopted them about you (and this is pretty standard policy- hard as it is do not take it personally) then that is all.  You have to accept it and try to move on.  I know how hard it is, and I really am terribly sorry.

One thing you should try to focus on, when you can, is that they were all adopted. This is actually fantastic news as it means they do all have loving homes and none of them were put down by the shelter- a far more terrible possibility.

I am sure that in time you will find other cats who steal your heart.
 to you.

I don't like that i donbt kno If there in LOVING homes, or if someone will JUST dump them on the street or worst, or bring them back to a shelter that won't adopt them out
Atleast with me i knew they would get the care and love they ALL needed

Most shelters make people who want to adopt a cat sign an agreement that states that if they can no longer take care of the cats for any reason they will return them to the same shelter. Could you talk to the shelter and ask what their policy is? This might give you more peace of mind.

I'm so sorry that you lost your cats this way.

That is our shelter's policy.  If someone adopts an animal and then disposes of it in any way, they will have a very hard time adopting another.

That said, you need to understand that the people who adopted these cats have every reason to expect their privacy will be respected.  The shelter could be in very deep legal trouble if they released any information to you about them.  In addition, most shelters require an application that they use to weed out those who would be likely to put the cats outdoors, mistreat them, etc.  The most you can expect (and the shelter may not be willing or able to do this) would be to have a note appended to the adoption papers requesting that you be notified if the cats are returned.

I'm sorry about what happened. I would be furious if my father did that too. Ask the shelter about their policy on returning cats and ask if they do get returned that they give you a call.

Try to think that they are all in good homes being cared for and paid close attention to individually. Thinking the worst will get you no where.
