I also like Photography, although I haven't picked up the camera quite as much lately. I also like to garden and cook.

Jumping on the photo bandwagon. But not only real life photos. I do virtual photography as well. For those who don't know what that is, it's taking photos in virtual worlds - and then typically I manipulate them in programs similar to Photoshop. I do mostly landscapes. I try hard a lot of time to give them a painted quality. I posted a couple of them in another thread recently but here is one so you understand better:
In my real life, I take shots of anything that catches my eye; from my commuting experiences, our cats, friends, odd and ends, and my garden:
Aside from that, I grow roses (see above!), and cook for pleasure also. Those are my big three.

I also like to take photos. My other main hobby is nail art.
I don't have one currently. I used to like gaming, but ever since school started I've completely lost interest. It's quite sad.

4. Tarantulas, I enjoy caring for them and waiting patiently for them to do anything. When they molt it's like Christmas for me!
5. I've been wildlife watching recently as we live at on the foothills of the Oquirrh mountains near SLC. I've seen herds of Elk and Foxes recently.
This is the range behind our house, I love it!
I also dabble in photography, mostly insects and outdoors stuff.

Nikon D5000 (my DSLR)
Canon D20 Powershot (Waterproof, I take a lot of underwater photos with this)
Canon Powershot SD4000 (had two, one broke)
One that I can't remember what brand or type.. I think its an Olympus.
my iPhone 5 which takes really nice photos too

I've been researching the D5200 for months now. I have a Canon ELPH Powershot, but hardly use it. And, some older SLR's which just sit around. Lately I use my cell phone more than anything but I really want to get a DSLR already. Of course, the sticker shock always makes me put it off

I recomend buying from best buy. Yes they cost more but their protection plan you can buy is excelent.
