The one on the left is new, just noticed it today. The one on the right has been there for almost a week. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? They are hard scabs. The cat is only 5 months old.

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. Going to take her to the vet, but hoping it's just some kind of dermatitis or allergy or bite or accident??? Though the new 2nd one worries me. Thanks!!!!!

Are they bumps or flat?

My boy kept getting lumps on his nose and I discovered he was allergic to mosquito bites.  But it's really hard to tell what's going on here.

Very interesting.  I've never seen anything like this.  Is he indoor only or does he go outside any?

Indoor and.. seems a lil late for mosquito? :/
They are slightly raised, and rough. Were yours like that too, Mani?

They weren't rough and they were quite a bump.

This sounds more like a skin issue..  and since they're spreading, it's good you're taking her to be checked out.

Let us know what the vet says.

Are they itchy?  Do you see him rubbing his paws on them or does he rub his head on the carpet or anything like that to "scratch" them if they were irritating him?  Are they only on his nose or do you see them anywhere else?  Have you changed food or litter brands recently?

Not itchy or painful, and only on nose. No changes. The only thing I can think of is sometimes that part of the nose gets immersed in the watery food, so maaaaybe a food allergy thing, is my best guess... or poking nose into some irritants on the floor....

Yes, I was wondering about the food thing.  Like acne.. only different (if you know what I mean

Do you use plastic bowls?  It could sorta be like chin acne, but only on his nose.

No, I use glass only, and wash after every use. I looked at tons of photos of cat acne on the chin, and they look more like dirt than scabs :\
