i'm one of the new cats on the block, my name is natural (valerie). i love animals, but i'm the owner of two cats. my first adopted cat's name is blaise (pronounced blaze). she's been with us for four years (adopted at 2) and lives a laid back life. she wouldn't even chase the hamster that got out of his cage.
i also recently became a foster mom, but my foster baby (cosmo) is so lovable and has a great personality there was no way i could adopt him out to another family. he really is a gentle giant and is just a joy to observe (big paws, slender, long body and smooth walk). he doesn't hiss, hasn't scratch or tried to scratch blaise, i believe he is truly incapable of showing aggression.
blaise on the other hand is scared of plastic bags and often hisses at cosmo. it's only been two weeks, but we have slowly introduce cosmo to the family and now they can sit in the same room together.
cosmo loves to cuddle, especially with other cats (he was fostered with other cats before me for a month). blaise is not ready for a close relationship with him yet.
they have two different personalities which i appreciate.
blaise, my quite storm, likes to do nothing but get in the bed under the covers and is quite.
my little panther, cosmo, likes to do everything: open doors, sleep in drawers, play with toys and meow at 2/3 in the morning. he's very active at night. they are both a joy, even at 3 in the morning. i'm attaching photos of my babies:
cosmo is the suave looking creature who always looks like he's ready to throw a wink at a cute kitty and blaise is the tuxedo cat with the bedroom eyes (because she wants a nap.)
