Welcome to TCS! Shadow is a handsome fellow!

He's three years old. The people we adopted him from said their (now 1 year old) puppy was antagonizing him and chasing him so they had to give him up. They were concerned for the cat also because they declawed him and they were concerned he wouldn't be able to fight back the dog.  Their loss was our gain though!  He's so laid back and relaxed!

Poor Shadow not getting to you before he was declawed, but it is good to hear he is a laid back and relaxed boy.  Wow, my gray boy, Mouse, will be 3 in February:  he makes a very good little shadow too as he follows me about silently (and regularly gets trodden on as a result).  You have definitely gained, he is a very striking cat, and he will no doubt be loving life with you and no puppy chasing him everywhere! No wonder he has been so chilled out since you adopted him!
