Showing declawed cats

Everyone please don't hate me but my kitties are declawed. I have Chloe that I would like to show in the HHP category. I read in one of the rules and reg. of 1 of those assoc. that cats cannot be declawed. Is this true?

In CFF and TICA it is absolutely true - declawed cats are considered maimed and cannot be shown. While AACE does not advocate declawing and all of our contracts for our kittens forbid it, I am sorry to say, they will allow you to show your declawed cat in the HHP category as there is nothing in the rules that expressly forbids it.
