Hi, I have had Louis our new cat for about a week an a half now. He is 7 months old and in shelter all his life. They have been feeding him iams dry cat food. I would like to get him on an all wet diet but don't know where to start.

I tried wet food once and he walk away from it. Any ideas?

You will find on catinfo.org different tips and strategies to make him eat the wet food  (the exact link is http://www.catinfo.org/docs/TipsForTransitioning1-14-11.pdf ).

I can vouch for some of them, as I have the pickiest eater of them all
I just had to find a topper she really loves - for us, dry freezed chicken did the trick, but sprinkling kibble on top might work as well.

Crush kibble on top, mix in kibble, try a topper, and you could also dip his paw in it so he has no choice but to try it lol.

That's great to hear! Congrats XD Are you going to change his diet to solely wet food?

Oh, that's good!! What have you tried thus far? Sometimes cats don't like pate if they've been use to kibble.
