When our eldest kitten was spayed she hated her cone  but as soon as we took it of she picked at her stitches, also our other cat Oni kept  licking them too so I came up with this! It gave her all the mobility, vision and sound whilst protecting her stitches from her and the environment. They also look fashionable too lol.

I also made my kittens travel jumpers as winter is approaching and they love traveling with us to my parents house, but they sometimes get cold and i can't fit both of them in my jumper now they've started to get big. My cats don't travel in crates as they really hate it, we found out the hard way, so they travel wearing harness's in the back of the  car with me whilst the other half drives, they've taken to sitting on the  parcel shelf. They seem to like wearing them and associate them with car rides, they'll go to the door.

So adorable! Did you knit the jumpers yourself? Awesome job however you did it! They look so cute and warm in them.

I hand knit the jumper using a french knitting  loom. It all started out with River's "medical vest" I literally  just cut sections of tights into suitable lengths  with holes for the front legs and a hole for the tail so it didn't slip. They were daily disposables and you can get about four of them out of one pair of tights, I did go on to make one out t-shirt material which  meant it was durable and reusable as well as being washable and like i said she was far happier in that than in a collar and it meant she could keep playing with Oni.

I think they're an absolutely brilliant alternative to 'the cone'.

Well done you!

Cute!  My cats would rip my skin off if I tried dressing them up.  Spencer might let me, but he would be sure to get even and some point. And I do have to sleep sometime!  LOL

Yeah I have been very lucky with my cat's temperament, although I think River knew it was a choice between the cone or the top and the top won.

These are too cute! I know it would take Skylar a while to get used to these but they are adorable. Thanks for sharing!
