Hi, I'm Karen.  Glad to see a site for white cats.  Calliope is our newest cat.  One blue eye, one green eye.  I hope the pics show her off well.  She is such a loving little girl.  We believe she is around 10-12 weeks old.  She adjusted immediately to her new home.  She's a very loud purrer and loves to sleep on laps.

Hello and welcome to TCS.  Calliope is gorgeous, I have a real soft spot for white cats despite living with a grey one! I also love black cats so think maybe I ended up with grey coz it was a mix.

Had to have a peek to see if there were more piccies of Calliope anywhere and found myself in her photo album which is very cute!  Noticed your comment about her eyes in the pictures you're taking and looked on line to see what I could find: this link was quite interseting but not sure if it makes sense for what you are noticing.

Looking forward to seeing more posts, and lots of pictures now you have joined us.  How many cats do you have?

Thank you.  I figured out that setting the red eye button on the camera cuts out that red eye.  I have 2 shih tzu's and 3 cats.  Maxim is a big gray cat, Butterscotch is an orange and white tabby and of course Calliope is pure white.  Calliope is just a loving little darling so far.  Max and Butters are not big on lap sitting or too much petting.  Strange thing is when we are in the bathroom Max comes in and just loves to be loved and rubbed.  Weird.

Calliope is fearless.  She climbs up the cat tree and play fights with Butters and sometimes looses her grip and goes right down.  But she gets right back up.  I find I worry about her like a little kid falling.  I really feel she is a special gift.

I may not post often on the site, but I will try to keep pics of her up to date as she grows.  Thanks for the warm welcome.

Nice to hear who they all are.  I have a fearless cat that's forever getting in to trouble falling off stuff so know what you mean about the worrying:  he's cost me a small fortune in vet fees with his antics over the past couple of years, but I love him big time so he gets away with it - he's a special gift but I'm not sure what kind!
