My 5 month old kitten got spayed last Wednesday (10/30) I brought her home the following day and a couple days later she had ripped out all of her stitches. I brought her back to the vet where she got her surgery done on Monday, and they said everything was fine and the wound will close on it's own. For the past few days everything has been fine, and the wound has gotten a lot smaller. However, it looks like it has been bleeding. Any advice about what I can do for her? She's not messing with the wound and she does not seem to be bothered by it. I have this picture. I'm sorry it is a little graphic. However, it doesn't really look that bad in person.

I agree that it doesn't look bad. The skin around the wound is a healthy pink. Looks like a good scab is over the site with no infection. Keep an eye on it and if the area around the wound starts to look very red or you see any puss, take her back to the vet.
