I took on a cat a few weeks ago, left my a old neighbour when they moved
she is def pregnant, very fat, i can feel and see the babies move
she is eating and sleeping loads
since about 5 am this morning, she has been licking lots, and seems restless, she keeps going behind my sofa ( not where i want her to give birth, as its near my front door, and cold), i have set a box up for her in my old shoe cupboard, and put her food in there
My dog and 14 wk old kitten, seems to be acting weird too

Do you think she is due very soon?

Yes, it seems so.  Althoough we cant know the exact hour.  so it is just essentially to be prepared, wait and see.

How is your dog and this kitten?  are they good friends with this high preg?   she isnt  disturbed or intimitaded by them?

If there is any negative answer here, you must isolate her from them.  If they are best friends and supportive, you can leave them together.  Mom must not be stressed.  separating from best, supportive friends may also be disturbing by itself.   But if you arent sure: separate.

Some useful links:

 One from this site:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/pregnancy-and-delivery-in-cats

http://www.icatcare.org/advice/my-cat-having-kittens    ( This is a link to a group of articles on cat pregnancy, birth and kittens.   Read the ones on normal cat birth and on " when to wait and when to worry"  )

Also, do read parallell and older threads.  You may perhaps find some youtube films too...

Good luck!

she is fine with both the dog and kitten, she sometime hisses at the kitten, so are trying to keep them apart as much as poss, but in a open plan house that is hard to do

she is still sleeping lots, and has a slight discharge, so hoping for next few days
