Cat can't tolerate Blue Buffalo?

My cat has had diarrhea since he's been eating Blue Buffalo Dry food.  He loves the food, gobbles it down, but it gives him smelly gas and loose stools- gross. I just switched him back to Science Diet, and I'm waiting to see if he gets better. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this with Blue Buffalo.

Dry food should be minimal!!!
I use Fromm and just give a handful here and there
Use wet 2x a day
