how much water is needed for 12 week old kitten?

I am asking because my georgie wasn't much of a water drinker before he died, he ate soley canned food and was nursing still from his mom up until 2 weeks before his passing but he was never really interested in water unless he drank as he bathed from time to time i put water down for him but he wasnt interested and i am concerned i did try hard enough adn that may have contributed to his deathcanned food and

I mean this in the kindest way possible, but please stop tormenting yourself.  From your post about your poor kitty's death, I don't think there would've been more you could've done. Your kitten was so very young and sounds like he just had too much go wrong. It happens, it's awful - really really awful, but it happens. Please don't blame yourself. I would think that your kitten's water intake would've done little to change anything - especially as he ate wet food. Canned food can contain something like 70% water. I know from my own experience, trying to get a cat to drink is pretty much impossible if they don't want to. I've tried every trick in the book and some.

Please be kind to yourself over the next few weeks.
