Angel was sleeping in between us all night, as usual. I turned around and actually fell out of the bed. Didn't hurt anything except my pride! Has this ever happened to you?

Haven't rolled out myself, but have pinned a cat once or twice by accident. My cats learn quick that I tend to move around a bit while sleeping. So either they learn to move quick when I start to move, or find a place that is more than likely safe from my tossing and turning.

Ouch! I don't recall falling out. DH nearly did one night and hit his head on his night table so hard we ended up at the er! No concussion; just a headache.

My cousins daughter was sleeping with me one night when she was only about 3 and she fell out. She whimpered a bit, got back in bed and that was the last of it. Till morning when we saw a big area of dented drywall!! My grandpa was not happy! Not her fault of course! But wow! Poor kid!

While I haven't actually fallen out of bed, I've come close. When Banshee and Pumpkin were alive their favorite spot was right between Rick and me. Banshee would stay in my arms, but Pumpkin would start out all curled up. As he got warmer, he'd start to stretch w---a---y out crosswise on the bed. And we'd move, so he had more room. Which would allow him to stretch out even further. He was a long cat, so when he stretched all the way out, he pretty much took the bed to himself. And we ended up on the very edges of the sides of the bed more than once.

When I had a waterbed, I frequently found myself squished between the bladder and the side board!  LOL

I think I'm pretty lucky now, all of my current cats seem to like to lay either on top of me, or between me and the side of the bed, so if anyone is going to fall out, it is them.  Spencer has rolled over once or twice to find himself rolling right out of bed!  Poor guy!  Talk about a wake up.  He climbs back up, literally, and has this look on his face that says "I meant to do that! Really I did!"

Even if I'm close to the edge, Abby will come and lay down there. I have to wrap my arm completely around her to keep her from falling out.

That's funny!

I used to like to sleep towards the edge of the bed; but now with anywhere from one to five cats potentially showing up during the night, I've learned to start out more towards the middle--that way the CATS get the edge.  LOL

So after posting this last night I woke up in the middle of the night with my butt hanging off the side of the bed about to roll that way. Close call!! LOL

Mooch has fallen off the arm of the couch quite a few times in her sleep! Always seems to bruise her ego! LOL

I never had room to fall out of bed. My cats only sleep with us in the winter. Im a side sleeper and Angel curls up behind my knees and Peanut lays against my stomach. I'm lucky if I can move at all.

No, never fell out of bed, I am glad because my bed is an old antique oak bed and it sits high from the floor. Plus I have hardwood oak floors. I don't even want to think about falling out.

LOL!!!! That's so funny! Thank goodness, I never have. I have ended up sleeping in some crazy positions, or at an angle from corner to corner because of Angel.

Angel has fallen off before. He will be laying close to the edge of the bed, & then he will stretch & roll to the other side, only to fall off.  LOL, Poor baby!  When I've seen him close to the edge before,

I will try to scoot him closer in, only to hear him wine in protest, I just say, "sorry baby, mommy's just trying to prevent you from falling off the bed later." LOL!
