I was setting up a tent for amber on the couch and she decided to come out right as my hand was coming down from fixing the top. her nose caught that bone that sticks out from my wrist! it was a loud thonk.

i hope she is ok. now when I stick my hand inside she shys away and wants to run. this is maybe the third time I have accidentally hit her on the head. my poor baby! ...

aww...she is okay. she gave me wet, cold nose kisses on my cheek and some rubbing. I kissed her all over her little head as much as I could before she could get away and gave her some kitty kaviar. i hate accidents like this. I cant help but feel her little nose contacting with my bone and hearing that awful 'thonk' lol.

I know what you mean! Last night I barely stepped on Blondie's tail, I caught myself before my full weight went down on it (thank goodness!) but he yowled! I tried to pet him to apologize, but he was having none of that and gave me the cold shoulder for a few minutes. Of course, a little while later when I got KFC, we were friends again!
Ah, the healing power of chicken!

I feel so bad when I accidentally bump my cats
Although Zoey is like made of steel or something.. you have to step on her tail pretty hard to get a meow out of her. It's almost scary because one time I fully stepped on her tail with my barefoot and on the carpet and I caught myself and jumped away but she didnt even move!!

Whenever you accidentally hurt them they give you this look that makes you feel so guilty. I think they work on it when you aren't around so that when something does happen they can guilt you into a treat!

it happened again! but this time I was playing and throwing her one of her fur mice and... 'thonk'! I give up. her eyes went all squinty.

I have never stepped on her tail. I always manage to get her head or if I turn and dont look down I will walk into her. no meows either.

she has two fur mice in addition to the rosie rat one and they have hard plastic inner bodies. I threw the first one fine, then the second clipped her! I dont know what happened. no more play for today...lol, maybe later. of course I feel bad... I wish I can beam into her head that it was an accident and I am sorry! amber doesnt make a sound, shes very quiet about it all.

I know we all worry and feel horrible when we accidentally bonk our babies.

But my theory is that Loki does a lot more damage to himself when he slides into the glass sliders in the dinning room head first. One would think that be in major pain, but no, just a shake of the head and off he goes. So what's a few less brain cells when he is having fun??

One time Zoey ran head first right into the corner of the wall
I swear it was the loudest noise I was so upset but she seemed fine! I swear cats have skulls of steel or something.
