My heart goes out to you.
I've been thinking of Poppy and trying to come up with a response that will make it all better.
If only I could wave my magic wand and make it all go away.

I really don't know what the accuracy of x-rays are when it comes to masses, but I've been told over and over again that x-rays are not a catch-all and not 100% reliable.
Just want to make sure you have all the facts before having to make such a heart wrenching decision.
I understand why you do not want to put Poppy through chemo or surgery. I wouldn't want to either if it turns out that Sebastian has lymphoma.

I don't know you as I'm pretty new on here but my fur baby is called Poppy too and she's had bowel problems. All ok at the moment but she's having to rely on Miralax to go now!
I'm thinking about you and your little Poppy. Let us know how she gets on, bless her!

Thank you all for your support. The vet called and said based on her current symptoms, previous ultrasound, and the x-rays, there is very little chance of saving her. We are taking her to the bridge today.

I'm am so, so sorry that it has to come to this.
It shows how much you love Poppy not to put her through any more pain or stress.
I feel as though many of us were a part of her life, even if only virtual.

Many hugs for you to be strong through this.
And lots of love for Poppy.

Oh Mia, I am so, so sorry
.  I'm just in shock, as I'm sure you are.   Be brave for Poppy's sake, then come back here for support.  Again, I am so very sorry

Thank you everyone for being here for me.

Poppy was pretty much hiding, starting not to groom herself, and did not cover her urine in the litterbox yesterday, so I knew by the time the vet told me it was best to let her go that he was right; I had even suspected so when they told me the mass was big. So we did not delay much and took her in the late morning. I am glad I changed vets because the doctor was very caring and professional. He did have to shave her paw because he said her blood pressure was low, so I kept her silky soft, black-and-white fur.

I will go through her supplies over the next week. Some items which are non-returnable I have thought of specific members that might have use of them and I will contact them through PM.

Thanks again,

Mia

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mia.

I don't even know what to say.
I'm just so taken aback by all this.

Hugs for you.
