I took my 1 &1/2 year old cat to the vet a few days ago and the vet gave her antibiotics for what he thought was a UTI. She was very lethargic and not going to the bathroom. He took a urine sample and said it was very dark so that's why he thought it was a UTI. Since that visit the vet called and said she is FeLV positive and has hemolytic anemia. Since then she is eating but not as much as normal. She will normally eat dry and wet food but she's only eating a small amount of the wet food. She had to go in two days ago and get a subdermal injection of fluids. (about 400 cc) I am giving her water with a dropper and she seems much more lively this morning. However, as of last night she is licking everything and even her litter. I know that's the anemia but the vet didn't say anything regarding it or even giving her steroids. I don't know if the antibiotics will help at, but I can't remember if he said she has a UTI, but he did say some kind of infection. She seems like she's getting better. Obviously I am aware of the FeLV and I think it could be causing the anemia, but less than a week ago she was a perfect cat, eating a lot (she's actually a little fat), shiny coat, super lovey, totally healthy indoor ONLY cat. I don't know what to do? I was reading how to help her anemia, to get her kitten food or even liver? But I don't really know what else to do, I just want her better <3

I'm sorry your kitty is going through this.  I wish I had words of advice, but I've no experience with this.  Maybe bumping this up will bring along some help.
